I’m originally from Indiana, my family and I moved to Columbia from New Mexico six years ago. We didn’t visit the area prior to making the move. We only knew what we researched online, and we were looking forward to being only two hours away from the beach and the mountains. We made the five-day trip with young kids in tow. When we reached the SC state line, Hurricane Irma welcomed us. We quickly fell in love with the area and do not plan to move again!
I have spent the last decade in the property management sector of the real estate industry. I have overseen the daily operations of investment portfolios in every asset class. My largest portfolio included eleven purpose-built student housing assets totaling 4100 beds that served college students from Philadelphia to Tallahassee. In total I have worked in twenty-three different markets throughout the country. I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating with dynamic individuals from all walks of life, from local and international students to global investment groups and private owners. During my career I acquired valuable knowledge of maintaining assets and I pursued a General Contractor license specializing in nonstructural renovations in 2021. My experience has allowed me to become well versed in several sectors that serve the real estate industry.
